Home School Association

Our Lady of Victories School has a parent organization that is highly involved in making significant contributions to the School. Because the income generated by tuition provides less than 50% of the operating costs of the school, school fundraising as well as Parish subsidy must cover the remaining costs. The HSA organizes and conducts all fundraising activities for the School.

School parents have an obligation to contribute to school fundraising by fulfilling their HSA duties and work bond hours. The work bond hours, which are clearly outlined on the contract that was signed by each parent during the registration period, must be met at the end of the year. All parents who receive Parishioner tuition rates are expected to be at the mandatory meetings.

Parent volunteers are a very special resource and an example for the children to experience their parents’ involvement in their education. Parents are encouraged to help at lunch and recess, programs and extracurricular activities. All parent volunteers must go through Protecting God’s Children, our Kid Safe Program, wear their Kid Safe ID badge while on school grounds, and fill out a volunteer application which will be kept on file in the school office.
